Van Huynh Company invites Attila Andrasi to deliver a two day Dance Intensive at Centre 151.
You will get an insight into Attila’s current research and explore material with him. Starting with specific tasks, the dancers are invited to share their own ideas and findings. Attila will use improvisation to encourage participants to reveal their individual experiences and thoughts. He is particularly interested in repetition and investigating the limits of one’s own body.
This workshop offers practical movement research tools to performance artists of various movement backgrounds. The tasks and information that will be provided requires a high level of physicality and curiosity. Candidates should have adequate experience with contemporary dance.

ABOUT ATTILA ANDRASI
Attila was born in Hungary where his interest in dance started at the Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy. He gained his first performing experience at Trafo and Mu Theatre in Budapest. Attila continued his studies at the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD) where he gathered professional experience at various festivals: New Face Dance Festival (Salzburg), Symphonic Dance Festival, Tanz House Festival and To Spring Tanz Festival (Salzburg). During this time he worked with Alleyne Dance Company (UK), Eduardo Torroja (ESP), Jelka Milic (SL), Elton Petri (GR), Rakes Sukes (IND). After graduating Attila collaborated with Lior Lazarof (ISR), HZT Academy, Anna Németh (HU) and The Ryder Project Gallery in London with Andrea Canepa (CO). Currently living and working in London, Attila creates his own work as well as delivering CHANGE, FORMATION, TRANSFORMATION movement research workshops in London, Budapest and Berlin. He is looking for movers to collaborate and explore his work and ideas all around Europe.
