Nhà=Home: Stories of our elders

Centre 151-VLC has been awarded £9,900 of National Lottery funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for a project that will gather and share the stories of a group of Vietnamese elders, who fled their country and travelled to the UK as refugees over 30 years ago.

Made possible by money raised by NATIONAL LOTTERY players, and working with the Geffrye Museum, the project will take a creative approach to the gathering of the stories of a group of Vietnamese elders using oral history, photography, movement, food and massage. These important historical accounts will be shared with Vietnamese children and the wider general public in a number of events that will ensure this important history stays alive. All dates for events will be posted on our website.
