Kakilang

Kakilang is a non-profit arts organisation championing East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) artists and communities. We support work across art forms and empower creatives to develop ambitious, critically-engaged projects that are not reduced to racial identity. Kakilang (自己人), meaning “one of us” in the Hokkien dialect, reflects the sense of kinship and connection we foster within and beyond ESEA communities. To us, Kakilang represents people coming together through art — diverse voices, shared experiences, and collective imagination.
Come chat to us to find out more about what we do, or drop in for our creative workshops in the Garden as part of Centre 151’s Open Day!

Con Tìm Mẹ

Con Tìm Mẹ has been set up to primarily guide and support Vietnamese adoptees searching for their biological parents in Vietnam. The charity provides free DNA kits and support to Vietnamese parents actively seeking their (adult) children. Funds are raised via donations and fundraisers. Con Tìm Mẹ is a US-based charity with four founders (also adoptees) who are based in the US, Australia, and Vietnam. They wish to highlight their mission in the UK as well.

Museum of the Home

Come to meet the outreach team of the Museum of the Home and find out more about their ESEA Community Programme and upcoming activities. They will also offer a Lantern Making workshop: Make colourful paper lanterns and celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with a creative family workshop for children aged 5–11.
