Our work this year has been made possible by an award from Postcode Society Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
Thanks to this award, we have encouraged members and visitors to be active and gave them opportunities to socialise and make friends. Despite the many challenges facing the East and Southeast Asian and wider community in the current times, we are proud to say that our members have showed solidarity and united to ensure no one was left behind.
Our Garden Club provided physical activity and a much needed moment of peace for the mind.
Our Open Day (Photo credit: Robert Piwko) and Vietnamese New Year (Photo credit: Brian Whar) were crucial inter-generational meeting points for the wider community.
Our Tai Chi lessons provided weekly physical exercise to the community whilst our outings and other cultural events allowed our members to explore new horizons.
